Students will participate in small group, station rotation, math review activities. One station will be direct instruction with Miss Morgan, certified special educator birth-21 with 7 years experience teaching middle and elementary school and private tutoring. Needs of the group are assessed informally and instruction will be planned accordingly.
This course is designed for learners who are performing below grade level, have learning disabilities, or just need ongoing practice to retain skills through the summer. Manipulatives, hands-on, fun activities, and engaging games will be built into sessions so that your child will ENJOY coming to do math :) I promise!!

Rising 1st & 2nd graders will practice addition and subtraction within 100 with supports depending on their individual levels.
Rising 3rd & 4th graders will practice multi-digit addition and subtraction facts and strategies (0-1000) with supports depending on their individual levels.
Rising 4th & 5th graders will practice introductory, basic fractions with denominators 1-10 (identifying fractions, comparing fractions, fractions on a number line) with supports depending on their individual levels.
All class will…
Include 3-4 stations in which students will participate.

4-week session- June 29th- July 26th
Addition and Subtraction within 10 for rising 1st & 2nd grade: 10:00am-10:45am
Multi-Digit Addition and Subtraction within 1000 for rising 3rd & 4th grade: 11:00am-11:45am
Introductory fractions for rising 4th & 5th grade: 12:00pm-12:45pm
